London Does Not Comment on Reports of Storm Shadow Missile Use in Russian Territory
The UK Defense Secretary John Healey has stated that he will not comment on media reports regarding the alleged approval of the use of Storm Shadow long-range missiles in Russian territory. This was reported by TASS.
"I will not jeopardize operational security by commenting on long-range systems today," Healey said, responding to questions from members of the British Parliament's House of Commons. He also expressed the view that London should increase its support for Kyiv. The Secretary added that the UK will coordinate its assistance with the United States and European allies.
Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov recalled that Moscow's position regarding American missile strikes deep in Russian territory has been clearly articulated by President Vladimir Putin in September. He stated that this decision indicates a 'qualitatively new phase' of tensions.
