In Abkhazia, protesters are cutting down the gates of the parliament as they continue to demand the president's resignation. According to reports, the president of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, has promised to resign once the protesters leave the parliament building in Sukhum.

“When the protesters leave the building, I will submit my resignation, and we will see how much support they will receive in the new elections,” he stated.
