I Will Only Discuss This with Trump: Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced that he does not take into account the initiatives of members of the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump's team regarding Ukrainian settlement, stating that he prepares to discuss the matter only personally with Trump.

This was mentioned by the Ukrainian president in an interview with Ukrainian radio.

“Every president has various people around them who perform specific tasks. I will only take the conversation with the U.S. president seriously—with all due respect to those around him,” Zelensky stated.

He also remarked that teams from both sides will work on organizing a meeting, noting that Donald Trump has not yet assumed office and cannot participate in global political processes.
