Democratic Senators Call for Investigation into Musk's Contacts with Russia

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has stated that he will find and "destroy" those who accuse him of alleged contacts with Russia. Earlier, Reuters reported, citing a letter from lawmakers, that Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Jack Reed have called on the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate reports of Musk's alleged communications with Russian authorities, including Vladimir Putin.

The concerns arise from supposed conversations between Elon Musk and Russian officials, which the Wall Street Journal claims took place back in October. The senators suggested considering the possibility of excluding Musk from participating in government contracts if violations are confirmed.

“I will find out who is making these accusations and I am going to destroy them. They are just puppets. I will find out who actually wrote this and compelled those fools to sign it,” Musk wrote on the social media platform X.
