PHOTOS: Greta Thunberg Joins Protest in Yerevan

A protest titled "Stop Greenwashing Genocide!" is currently taking place in front of the UN office in Armenia, featuring Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg. It is noteworthy that Thunberg arrived in Armenia just days ago and officially refused to participate in the UN Climate Conference (COP-29), which is being held in Azerbaijan.

"We are going to show that all those who agreed to hold COP-29 in a dictatorial state are in solidarity not with the theme of COP-29, but with the processes carried out by Azerbaijan, particularly the crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and genocide against the people of Artsakh," said one of the organizers of the protest.

According to him, the protest is against the decision to hold COP-29 in Azerbaijan.
