Yerevan Thermal Power Plant Clarifies Incident Involving Former Commander of Police Forces

In response to information circulating in the media, the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant LLC has clarified that the altercation between employees was related to a household issue and did not pertain to work-related matters. This statement comes from the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant LLC.

“The disagreement arose outside of working hours and outside the workplace. One of the participants in the argument was transported to the hospital by an ambulance, but after not having any complaints, refused medical examinations and returned to normal work,” the company stated.

Earlier, mediahub reported that a dispute broke out this morning between the newly appointed Deputy Director of the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant, Sargis Hovhannisyan, and the head of security, Arthur Pahlavuni, which later escalated into a physical altercation. The Investigative Committee has announced that a criminal case has been initiated concerning the incident.
