VIDEO: "I Was Expecting You to Mention Kocharian’s Name as a Hero" - Alen Simonian

The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, stated in his speech that the opposition had called them "traitors" before, but now the term "hero" is irritating them.

“Of course, people are heroes; they are heroes because they create jobs, because they feed, provide weapons, and maintain the soldier through their work,” Simonian said.

“I was expecting that when talking about heroes, Ms. Khamoyan would mention Robert Kocharian’s name as the main ‘warrior,’ as her main hero, but she didn’t mention Kocharian’s name at all. When I heard the name Monte, I remembered that when we were city council members, it was until our faction managed to convince that a street would be named after Monte, saying that this man is a hero; it was a tough process.”

Alen Simonian revealed two pieces of news to the opposition: “I have two pieces of news, both of which are good. The first is that, most likely, you will not be in the next parliament. The second good news is that today’s government, without distributing money, through fair and clean elections, recognized by all countries in the world, will return to power with even higher votes.”
