During a government meeting today, Nikol Pashinyan expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of law enforcement agencies, issuing clear directives: “I mentioned 3-4 years ago that corrupt individuals are enjoying themselves in cafes and restaurants from morning till evening, and I am saying it again now. What have I done wrong, what have we done wrong, what have we not provided our law enforcement system? The same people who were flaunting their power in the Republic are still doing it, those who looked down on others are still doing so. This cannot continue, I can only be patient for 1, 2, 3, or 4 years. Respectful representatives of the law enforcement system, my patience has run out. I have provided everything you asked of me, I haven’t interfered in anything, I haven’t meddled in anyone’s affairs. Who are you taking action against? It turns out that there is weak power in Armenia; excuse me, then the law enforcement agency is weak. Is there a constant need to prove this? How can anyone in the state misbehave, how is that possible? I have set a precedent by saying that this can happen. I will not hold any more consultations on this topic. I cannot allow anyone to think that the Prime Minister said something and it was forgotten,” said Pashinyan.
