Hajiyev Announces When Yerevan and Baku Will Return to Peace Agreement Discussions

Baku and Yerevan will return to discussions on the text of the peace agreement in December, Azerbaijan's presidential assistant Hikmet Hajiyev has told TASS.

“At this moment, the main theme on Azerbaijan's agenda is COP-29,” he said, noting that starting in December, a new process will commence between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the discussions and continuation of negotiations on the peace agreement text.

According to Hajiyev, there are specific issues within the document's text: “Therefore, discussions and negotiations continue at the expert level. The Armenian side did not respond in a timely manner to our proposals regarding the text of the peace agreement. The process has been delayed. Starting in December, there will already be a new process,” he stated.
