«It Should Be Decided by Armenia Itself» – Aliyev

Armenia itself should decide whether to participate in the COP-29 to be held in Baku. This statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Today, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan stated that the decision to participate in COP-29 depends on the overall dynamics of the negotiations.

“An invitation has been sent, but whether to participate or not should be decided by Armenia itself,” Aliyev said to Stubb, who is in Baku for the conference.

Pointing out that the OSCE Minsk Group has already become a part of history, the Azerbaijani president emphasized that Baku supports a peace agenda.
