A vehicle has plowed into a crowd of pedestrians in the city of Zhuhai, China, according to local media reports. The incident occurred in the vicinity of a sports center in the city.

The vehicle was moving along the main avenue of the center, where people were walking and engaging in sports at the time. After hitting pedestrians, the driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by authorities.

Details regarding the casualties are not confirmed, but reports indicate that as many as 10 people have been killed, with around 20 others injured.
