Large Car Accident Near Yeraskh Village, Injured Reported
On November 11, at 10:59 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Ararat Regional Rescue Department received a call reporting an accident near Yeraskh village, close to a speed camera, with a gas leak present.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 316th kilometer of the Megrik-Yerevan highway, a collision occurred between a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle (driver: R. Kh., born in 1983) and a "GAZelle" vehicle servicing the Ararat-Surenavan route (driver: E. B., born in 1949). The "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers of the vehicles were taken to a medical center. The rescuers shut off the vehicles' power and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
