Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Short Circuit Leads to Major Fire on Komitas Avenue
On October 27, at 14:44, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a fire that broke out in a bakery located on the first floor of building number 34 on Gulbenkian Street in Yerevan. Two fire and rescue teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene.
A “1 BIS” level complexity fire was declared, prompting the deployment of two additional fire and rescue teams, along with the operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, the on-duty staff from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division, the Medical Support Department, and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division.
The fire was contained at 15:26 and extinguished by 15:31.
