Several people have gone missing in Spain due to abnormal weather conditions, with one confirmed fatality, according to reports from Telegram channels.

In Valencia, a bridge has collapsed, and in Malaga, a train has derailed, leaving several individuals unaccounted for as a result of the severe weather that has triggered heavy rainfall, hail, and strong wind bursts leading to flooding.

One victim has been confirmed; in Valencia, a man went down to the garage to check his vehicle and got trapped in the elevator.

The state meteorological agency has declared the highest alert level in the Valencia autonomous community due to the heavy rains, where a bridge over the Picanya River has collapsed. The agency has also issued a special warning to citizens of all countries in the area, urging caution: “It’s the most unfavorable day, and the heavy rains will continue in the coming days,” the announcement stated.
