Who Will Be Deprived of Citizenship of the Russian Federation: New Conditions

Individuals who have obtained Russian citizenship but have not undergone the oath-taking process will have their citizenship status revoked starting November 23. This has been reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The decree does not apply to those who acquired Russian citizenship before September 1, 2017, nor to those who were exempted from the obligation to take an oath at the time of obtaining citizenship.
