Argument Turns Violent: Doctors Unable to Save 17-Year-Old's Life

On November 8, a murder occurred in the Ararat province. Around 22:50, operational information was received by the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia from the Ararat provincial criminal department and the community police station of Masis that a dispute, fight, and stabbing had taken place on 6th street of Nor Kharberd, resulting in one person being transported to the Masis Medical Center. According to a photojournalist at the scene, the doctors informed the police that the victim had died in the operating room without regaining consciousness.

Police have established that the deceased was 17-year-old Davit T., a resident of Nor Kharberd in the Ararat region. Officers and investigators found that around 22:00, a dispute and fight occurred near the intersection of 4th and 5th streets in Nor Kharberd, close to the cemeteries, involving the deceased Davit P. and his friend, 16-year-old Gor G., both residents of Ararat province, and on the other side, 22-year-old Harutyun A. from Yerevan, along with 28-year-old Gevorg B., 25-year-old Armen B., and 21-year-old Ashot G., all residents of Ararat province. During the altercation, Davit T. sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported in critical condition to the Masis Medical Center.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Masis investigative department under the charge of “murder” based on the incident. According to the website's information, participants in the fight Gevorg and Armen B. are siblings.
