Several videos posted on social media show masked individuals attempting to break into hotels where Israelis were staying. According to the portal, clashes have occurred in several locations throughout the city. In total, around 10 Israelis have been reported injured.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged its citizens to stay inside their hotels in Amsterdam.
According to the portal, Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered two rescue planes to be dispatched immediately to assist Israelis in Amsterdam.
The AT5 publication reports that brawls broke out between fans of the clubs during the match. According to the publication's reporters, the fighting was related to disagreements over events occurring in the Middle East. Local media suggested that the altercation may have been sparked by the careless handling of a Palestinian flag by Israeli fans.
