Major Accident Reported: Several Injured, Including a Child

On November 8, at 16:41, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident near the gas station in the town of Maralik, Shirak province. There are reported injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene.

It has been determined that at the 99th kilometer of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, an "Opel" vehicle (driver: R. S., born in 1991) collided with an "Isuzu" cargo truck (driver: A. T., born in 1992). The "Opel" vehicle went off the roadway while the truck overturned.

The truck driver and passenger A. M. (born in 1996) were hospitalized at a medical center. Rescuers helped the driver of the "Opel" and passenger R. S. (born in 2017) to the ambulance, and the injured were transferred to hospitals.

Rescuers secured the area, disconnected the vehicles, and stopped the fuel leak.
