Israeli Army Bulldozes Part of UN Peacekeepers' Base in Lebanon
The Israeli army has bulldozed part of the defensive structures at the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon's base located in the border village of Ras al-Naqura. This information was reported by the press service of the peacekeeping contingent in Lebanon.
In response to our urgent complaint, the Israeli army denied any actions in the territory of the peacekeepers' base, the statement noted.
The UN Interim Force Command has warned the Israeli side that the destructive actions of the Israeli army are evident and represent a blatant violation of the UN Security Council resolutions.
