I Don’t Care About Work or Sanctions: Melikyan on Nikoghosyan

Following the postponed match of the Armenian Premier League's 4th round between 'Gandzasar' and 'Pyunik' (0:5), 'Pyunik' head coach Yeghishe Melikyan addressed the comments made by Armenian Football Federation Vice President Armen Nikoghosyan during a recent interview. ArmSport reports.

“Aside from being a coach and a specialist, I am Armenian, I have been an Armenian football player, I am an Armenian fan, and I represent Armenian football; I am not going to be passive. Armen Nikoghosyan allows himself to tarnish the presidents of 'Shirak', 'Pyunik', and 'Urartu'. I declare war on this approach, and I don’t care about work or sanctions. Let them gather their lawyers in their building and look for a reason to sanction me in my words. I will defend those who contribute to Armenian football and fight against those who tarnish our football,” stated the Armenian specialist.
