Pyunik Issues Statement

Football Club "Pyunik" has issued a statement in which it says:

"FC Pyunik is outraged by the recent barrage of insults and lies directed at our club by the Vice President of the Football Federation of Armenia, Armen Nikoghosyan, during a Fast Sports broadcast, which have no connection to reality. This once again proves that Armen Nikoghosyan has sunk so low and is so disheartened that he resorts to cheap manipulations and falsehoods to restore the tarnished reputation of the FFAr and to belittle others.

We find such behavior by a representative of the FFAr unacceptable, as it primarily tarnishes the image of all Armenian football. We call on the Vice President of the FFAr to focus on his immediate responsibilities, the negligent fulfillment of which has already led to an unprecedented disastrous situation in Armenian football.

We reaffirm our solidarity with all fan movements in Armenian football and demand the immediate resignation of the current leadership of the Football Federation of Armenia."
