Arpi Abgaryan on Sergey Lazarev's Controversial Act
Unexpected situations arose during the recent episode of the project 'Well, Everyone Together' featuring Russian resident Arpi Abgaryan. The special guest of the episode was composer and producer Igor Krutoy.
As a result of the competition, two winners were selected: Arpi Abgaryan and Daria Khramova. During Abgaryan's performance, one of the 100 jury members was reluctant to press the button and stand up. During her performance, project leader Sergey Lazarev approached her and pressed the button, after which jury member Lev Rudin left the pavilion. He was replaced by the project’s host Nikolai Baskov.
Following Sergey Lazarev's actions, it provided an opportunity for Arpi Abgaryan to have a song dedicated to her by Igor Krutoy as well. Arpi Abgaryan admitted that she was surprised and simultaneously admired Sergey’s gesture. She shared this in an interview with StarHit.
“At first, it was a bit uncomfortable; I assumed that filming would stop. Sergey was defending me. His action was very honest and noble. Yes, that kalyu was very bright and passionate—some liked it, some didn't. But still, what he did creates admiration for me. I think this will never happen again in my life. Who else could imagine me jumping from the third floor to the first? Agree, that was a chivalrous move,” the singer stated.
