Supporters of the Sacred Struggle Arrested for Terrorizing Purposes: 'Hraparak'

According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', in recent days, law enforcement agencies have allegedly arrested about three dozen supporters of the Sacred Struggle on suspicion of carrying and storing weapons, including minors. During a few days of 'operations', it turns out that no weapons or ammunition were discovered. In reality, they were not searching for weapons, but for activists distributing political posters.

People were arrested merely to instill fear, preventing them from taking to the streets and pasting posters of officials. This is also evidenced by the fact that none of these arrests have led to charges against any citizen, there are no detainees, and no petitions for detention have been submitted to the court. Moreover, based on lawyer Hovhannes Khudoyan's appeal, the arrest of one person has been recognized as illegal, and the case of another is set to be reviewed in the coming days.
