Russia's Foreign Ministry Comments on US Presidential Elections

Russia will work with the new US administration while firmly defending its national interests and focusing on achieving all objectives of its special military operation in Ukraine, stated the Russian Foreign Ministry in a commentary on the results of the US presidential elections. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Russia will work with the new administration once it is ‘registered’ at the White House, firmly defending Russian national interests and concentrating on the fulfillment of all goals set in the special military operation. Our conditions remain unchanged and are well known to Washington,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that Republican Donald Trump has declared himself the winner of the elections. Global leaders have congratulated him.
