The Statistical Committee of Armenia has published a report on the permanent population. As of October 1, 2024, the permanent population of Armenia stands at 3,067,000 people.

The most densely populated community is the capital city. Yerevan is home to 1,136,000 residents. The administrative districts with the highest population are Malatia-Sebastia, Nor Nork, and Erebuni. The least populated administrative district is Nubarashen, which has a population of 12,000.

The statistical data highlights an uneven distribution of the population across the regions. Kotayk province ranks first in terms of population concentration, with 292,000 citizens. The regions closest to Yerevan, such as Ararat and Armavir, also stand out for their dense populations. The least populated region is Vayots Dzor, Armenia's smallest province, home to just 49,000 residents.

Overall, Armenia's population is primarily concentrated in urban areas, totaling 1,976,000 people.
