ICRC Visits Armenian Detainees in Baku

Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited Armenian detainees held in Baku during October. This was reported by Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs for the ICRC delegation in Armenia.

She noted that during the interviews, there was also the opportunity to establish contact with relatives.

The military-political leadership of Artsakh has been illegally held in a Baku prison for a year now. Baku officially confirms the detention of 23 Armenians, 17 of whom found themselves there after Azerbaijan's September aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh.
