Russia pretends to be indifferent to the US elections, but it is secretly supporting former President Donald Trump, hoping that this will allow it to end the war with Ukraine on favorable terms for Moscow. This was reported by the Washington Post.

“I expect Trump to call Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on November 7 and suggest halting military operations,” political analyst Sergey Markov, linked to the Kremlin, told WP.
