VIDEO: American Who Assisted Russian Army in Ukraine is Now in Russia

Lilit A.

Russian military personnel have extracted American Daniel Martindale from an area controlled by the Ukrainian armed forces near the village of Bogoyavlenka. This information has been reported by RIA Novosti.

The American has been in Ukraine since February 11, 2022, and established contact with Russian law enforcement agencies on his own initiative, providing coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities for two years.

Martindale is now in Moscow and has given his first press conference. "My name is Daniel Martindale. Here is my passport, which has been through the war with me; you can see its condition," he said.

Martindale emphasized that he is in Moscow of his own volition. "I am healthy, and everything I do is voluntary. I am very happy to have the opportunity to discuss the issues raised on the topic of our event today," he added.

The American recounted that he went to Ukraine from Poland on February 11, 2022, and that his American passport allowed him to travel throughout Ukraine. He described the events surrounding Ukraine as an American attempt to restrain Russia and prevent equal competition.

Martindale added that Ukrainian soldiers are being sent to their deaths, and their losses are enormous. He expressed a desire to remain in Russia, stating, "Do I want to return to the U.S.? No. I can say that for sure. Since 2005, I have considered the U.S. government my enemy. They are responsible for the terrorist attacks of 2001," he said.

Martindale noted that for the past two years, he has done everything possible to preserve the lives of Russian soldiers and ensure a future for Russians in Ukraine.
