Ruling Party Wins Elections, Announces Georgia's CEC
The Central Election Commission of Georgia has announced that the ruling "Georgian Dream" party has won the elections, securing 54.2% of the votes. Major opposition forces have also entered the parliament, collectively receiving around 37% of the votes.
The key opposition parties that surpassed the 5% threshold are: "Unity-National Movement" (approximately 10.8%), "Coalition for Change" (around 10.1%), "Strong Georgia" (about 8.7%), and "For Georgia" (near 7.7%).
