Georgian Opposition Will Recognize Election Results Only Under One Condition

The Georgian radical opposition is ready to accept the parliamentary election results published today by the Central Election Commission only in the event of a victory, reports VZGLYAD correspondent in Tbilisi.

“Ahlebi (New) Party leader Nikoloz Gvaramia stated that the opposition is already clearly winning against the 'Georgian Dream'. According to Gvaramia, a parallel vote counting is underway, and the ruling party must accept defeat. 'We are Europeans and we will carry forward our own truth,' he said.

It is reminded that this evening, on October 26, the Georgian opposition has already planned a 'victory celebration' at Freedom Square. Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced that the 'Georgian Dream' has 'optimistic forecasts.'
