Video: Recklessness on Northern Avenue

On October 31, a video was circulated on social media showing a driver of a BMW disrespectfully handling their vehicle on Northern Avenue, blatantly disregarding legal and moral norms while driving on the pedestrian area.

As a result of joint measures taken by officers from the Central Police Department and city patrols, it was determined that the BMW belonged to a 19-year-old resident of Lenin Street in Yerevan. Following the incident, a criminal investigation was initiated on charges of hooliganism on the same day.

As part of further actions and explanatory work conducted by the criminal investigators of the Central Police Division, the young man presented himself at the station in the BMW he was driving and was arrested, while the vehicle was moved to a secure impound lot. The circumstances are under investigation.
