VIDEO: Announcement by the Municipality Regarding Fare Payment

Starting November 1, it will be mandatory to have a 100 dram coin or to make payments via a QR code through the payment system installed in buses when using public transport, specifically MAN, ZhongTong, and GazelCity vehicles. This has been announced by the Yerevan Municipality.

The goal is to ensure a smooth transition to the unified ticketing system expected to be implemented on January 1, after which passengers will be offered permanent use cards, bank cards, and mobile app payment options.

Additionally, passengers who have never purchased a QR ticket using Telcell Wallet will be able to receive 10 free QR tickets (for bus/metro) when they purchase their first QR ticket in the Telcell Wallet app between October 21 and November 30. This offer is one-time and is available only to users purchasing their first QR ticket.
