In the draft peace treaty, there is one or two more formulations around which work will continue. After that, the Armenian side hopes to reach the signing of the treaty. This was stated today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, during a joint meeting of permanent committees of the National Assembly presenting the 2025 budget draft.

He reminded of the Armenian side's proposal to sign the treaty based on the currently agreed points and continue negotiations on the remaining points. According to the head of the Armenian foreign policy agency, this proposal has not been met with enthusiasm from the Azerbaijani side, judging by public reactions and interactions.

“Recently, I was accused in the National Assembly of often expressing cautious optimism. But I can't help but use these words. I need to express cautious optimism about the fact that in the near future we will succeed in reaching an agreement on those one or two formulations, after which the treaty will be ready for signing,” said Mirzoyan.
