Video: The State Budget is Each Citizen's Large Family Budget, Says Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated during discussions on the draft of the 2025 state budget that the state budget of Armenia is essentially the large family budget of each citizen. He emphasized, “The quality of work and content in the public sector greatly determines how much revenue will be generated in the country. Of course, it also heavily depends on the people working in the private sector, as their ability to effectively utilize existing opportunities is critical to leveraging the wealth-creating and enhancing formulas that the government establishes and implements.”

According to the Prime Minister, we all contribute to a common family budget for the state in the interest of universal welfare for all citizens. He also reminded, “There is not a single person, or family, for whom expenditures from the budget are not made to meet their needs. There is no family, individual, or person for whom targeted spending is not allocated.”
