God Illuminate Everyone's Souls: Pashinyan on Material Values

In Armenia, the process of materializing intangible values should be activated. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

"If we think that we do not lose such vanishing material values every day, we are terribly mistaken. When our grandmothers and grandfathers—God illuminate everyone’s souls—pass away, the intangible values disappear if they are not sufficiently documented," he noted.

"When we visit different villages, people present their culture, daily life, and sometimes hospitality, and at that moment we see dishes that are unfamiliar to us. For instance, when we go into a restaurant just 3 km away and ask if they have this dish, they are often surprised and ask, 'What is that?'" Pashinyan mentioned.

Following these instances, he decided to implement a grant or competition program so that specialists can travel to communities and record unique dishes. The goal, according to the Prime Minister, is not just archiving but collaborating with public catering establishments from a tourism development perspective so that they include these recipes in their menus.

Pashinyan emphasized that they are planning to publish catalogs, and there are already relevant websites online that contain not only recipes of dishes but also photographs and materials showing what the food looks like in its final form.
