Zahharova: Such Groundless, Bombastic Indignation Confirms the Exact Opposite

The statement by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer alleging that Russia has struck Ukrainian ports confirms London's involvement in supplying weapons to Kyiv via the Black Sea corridor. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing.

"We have drawn attention to the press release posted on the website of the UK Prime Minister's Office, where accusations are made against the Russian armed forces regarding alleged attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure in the Black Sea," Zakharova noted, adding that according to the British side, "these strikes have been used to undermine global food security."

"Such groundless, yet at the same time bombastic indignation from London once again confirms the exact opposite — the direct involvement of Great Britain in supplying arms to the Kyiv regime using the Black Sea maritime corridor," she emphasized. Zakharova further remarked that "relevant video evidence from the southern port of Odessa in connection with military cities has recently been published by our country's Ministry of Defense, and denying this fact by London makes their claims absolutely futile."
