Video: Political Scandal During Loboda's Concert in Yerevan
A segment from singer Svetlana Loboda's concert in Yerevan in 2022 has surfaced online, where the star 'demands' one of the attendees to condemn Russia's relentless aggression against Ukraine from the stage.
According to gazeta.ru, organizers of Loboda's upcoming concert in Dubai have taken note of the video, requiring the singer to refrain from political statements. They have warned Loboda that if a similar incident occurs during their event, she will lose the opportunity to earn money in the UAE.
A representative from the singer's team informed the Mash Telegram channel that Loboda has agreed to the organizers' conditions, considering the potential reduction in income.
During the Yerevan concert, Loboda requested from one attendee, "I want you to say that you are against the Russian government's continuation of this terrible, merciless war against Ukraine," addressing a fan who had taken to the stage.
However, the guest refused, emphasizing that they came to listen to music, not to discuss politics.
Loboda responded, "In that case, I let you go and will not speak with you anymore. You came to my concert, which means you should support my position because those who come to my concerts support peace."
Representatives from the singer's team confirmed to the Mash Telegram channel that the incident occurred in 2022.
