Israel Used Airspace of Other Countries to Strike Iran: Araqchi

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that Israel, in addition to using Iraqi airspace, has also utilized the airspace of other countries during its recent airstrikes against the Islamic Republic, according to IRNA.

“Before this attack, I visited Iraq. At the highest levels, Iraqi officials reassured us; however, there is information that Iraqi territory has been used for Israeli strikes against Tehran,” Araqchi said.

He emphasized that besides Iraq, Israel also used airspace from other countries during the attack on Saturday. “Iran is in contact with those countries,” Araqchi noted, adding that the Islamic Republic has filed a complaint regarding this situation with the United Nations and other international organizations.
