Negotiations Are Possible: Yeghishe Melikyan

The head coach of FC Pyunik, Yeghishe Melikyan, has once again addressed the question of leading the Armenian national team. This was reported by ArmSport.

“Whether I will train the national team during Meliqbekyan's tenure or not, I cannot say for sure. It is very important how and who will propose it and under what conditions we will enter negotiations. For me, it doesn't matter who the president of the federation is; what matters is our national team and its recorded results. If Meliqbekyan thinks that I can help our team, negotiations are possible. Yes, I have a personal opinion that does not coincide with the president's viewpoint, but when it comes to the national team, I consider that secondary,” said Melikyan.

It should be noted that earlier Melikyan mentioned that there is a conflict between FC Pyunik and the Football Federation of Armenia, and this could hinder his chances of leading the national team.
