Messi Responds to Ballon d'Or Award Results

Lionel Messi, captain of the Argentine national team and player for Inter Miami, has commented on the results of the 2024 Ballon d'Or awards.

"Congratulations to all the winners and nominees of the Ballon d'Or. I would especially like to congratulate Emiliano Martinez on yet another award for being the world’s best goalkeeper," Messi wrote alongside a shared photo on his Instagram Story.

It is worth noting that this year the main prize was won by midfielder Rodri from Manchester City and the Spanish national team. Emiliano Martinez, goalkeeper for Aston Villa and the Argentine national team, received the Lev Yashin award.
