This is All Regarding the Matter: Sargsyan on Speculation About Justice Minister Candidacy

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan has not commented on the speculation regarding her appointment as Justice Minister. “I do not intend to give any comments on this topic,” she stated during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly.

Sargsyan mentioned that she came to the National Assembly as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. “I am here today as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. This is all regarding the matter. I have no other comments,” the deputy minister added.

It is noteworthy that the ruling Civil Contract party had initiated a petition for the dismissal of the former Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan. This was followed by the resignation of newly appointed Deputy Minister of Justice Sirvard Gevorgyan. On October 1, Minasyan resigned from his position as Justice Minister, and on October 2, the President of Armenia signed the relevant decree.
