Erdogan's Call to the International Community
The cessation of Israeli aggression in the Middle East is possible through the joint efforts of the international community. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a phone call with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
“President Erdogan stated that Israel has expanded its zone of fire in the Middle East, ignoring all warnings, and that the international community must act together to stop Israel's aggression,” said a statement from the Turkish leader's office.
The message added: “President Erdogan also remarked that Israel's attacks on Palestinian territories, including Gaza, as well as on Lebanon and UN missions, are unacceptable. He noted that Turkey will continue its efforts to achieve peace in the region.”
