North Korean Troops to Soon Enter Operations

Ukrainian servicemen have warned that North Korean troops will soon enter military action, reports The New York Times.

One soldier, who is involved in the battles in the Kursk region, told the publication that commanders had alerted him about the imminent arrival of military personnel from North Korea “in the coming days.”

A Ukrainian officer stated to NYT that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have published a handbook of Ukrainian-Korean expressions to enable soldiers to communicate with North Korean troops and urge them to surrender.

In October, intelligence services from Ukraine and South Korea announced the movement of North Korean troops to Russia. Moscow labeled the information about troop movements as “filling and noise,” while Pyongyang described it as “unfounded stereotypical news.”
