Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili

Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on the victory of the "Georgian Dream" party in the parliamentary elections.

"I am confident that the outcomes of the elections will contribute to the further development of Azerbaijani-Georgian interstate relations, which are based on the historically friendly, brotherly, and neighborly ties of our peoples and the strengthening of our countries’ positions in the South Caucasus and in a broader geographical context," the message stated.

Aliyev also invited Garibashvili to make an official visit to Azerbaijan to continue the political dialogue.
