I Hope This Is the End: Biden

U.S. President Joe Biden expressed hope that the recent strikes by Israel against Iran would mark the end of months of escalation. “I hope this is the end,” Biden told reporters, commenting on the airstrikes carried out by Israeli drones and fighter jets on military sites in Iran on Saturday night. The targets of the attack included Iran's air defense systems, radar installations, and long-range missile production facilities. Reports indicate that four Iranian soldiers were killed in the strikes.

Biden added, “There has been no talk about anything other than Israeli military targets.” Iran's Foreign Ministry stated that it has the right to self-defense following the attack that occurred on Saturday.
