Fire in Yerevan Leaves One Dead

A fire broke out in one of the houses on Mikayel Chalayakhyan Street in Yerevan, resulting in a fatality. The information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service.

It was noted that the National Crisis Management Center received an emergency call about the fire today at 04:16. Firefighting units from the rescue service dispatched three combat crews and a duty group from the Department for Firefighting and Rescue Operations to the scene.

According to the report, household items (approximately 15 square meters) were burned in the room of the house. The body of G. T., born in 1962, was discovered.

The fire was contained by 04:41 and extinguished by 05:31.
