Two Secret U.S. Intelligence Reports Released: Is War Between Israel and Iran Imminent?

Today, copies of two secret reports from American intelligence agencies have been published on social media, revealing preparations by the U.S. regarding a potential strike against Iran by Israel.

According to these documents, Israel is actively engaged in the production of ballistic missiles and conducting large-scale covert exercises of its Air Force. The first report, compiled by a U.S. intelligence agency, indicates that since October 8, Israeli military personnel have started working with air-to-ground class ballistic missiles.

Particular attention is focused on two types of missiles, provisionally designated as “Golden Horizon” and “Rocs,” of which little is known. The document notes the movement of 16 missiles of the first type and 40 of the second type, raising concerns in Washington.

Additionally, the report discusses the activity of Israeli drones and large-scale drills conducted by the Israeli Air Force on October 15-16. The military operations included attempts at aerial refueling and the transfer of unidentified missile systems to the “Ramon” and “Ramat-David” air bases. Analysts suggest these drills are clear signs of Israel’s preparation for a major military operation.

The second report, prepared by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), also confirms suspicions about preparations for a strike against Iran. The document mentions the continued activity of Israeli drones gathering intelligence not only in Iran but also in other countries in the region.

Moreover, the report states that the Israeli “Jericho” missile systems deployed since October 1 continue to hold their positions, indicating readiness for defense in case of a threat. Despite all these preparations, U.S. intelligence agencies have found no signs indicating that Israel is prepared to use nuclear weapons.

However, the mere fact that such reports are emerging in the public domain raises numerous questions. Military analysts propose several hypotheses regarding the leak of classified information. The first and simplest is an actual leak that has unexpectedly surprised U.S. officials.

Nevertheless, a more plausible explanation could be that it was a deliberate “leak” aimed at warning Israeli leadership not to display excessive confidence and to demonstrate that the U.S. is aware of all of Israel's plans. The third hypothesis is misinformation that could be part of a joint U.S.-Israel operation intended to mislead Iran regarding Israel's true intentions.
