Man Hits 86-Year-Old Pensioner on Head, Who Stabs Him in Return
An extraordinary incident took place in Yerevan on October 13. According to Shamshyan.com, around 14:50, operational information was received by the Mashtots division of the RA Police that two citizens with bodily injuries had been taken to the 'Armenia' medical center from 18B Arzumanyan Street.
As reported by a photo journalist, police officers from the Mashtots division, led by the head of the on-duty unit, arrived at the hospital. Doctors at the scene informed the police that the injured were unable to provide explanations as they were in the operating room.
The police determined that the injured were 86-year-old Rubik P., who was hospitalized with a diagnosis of 'GUV, comatose state,' and 63-year-old Vardan B., who was admitted with a diagnosis of 'multiple bleeding wounds to various parts of the body.'
The police clarified that on the same day at 14:00, during an argument with the presence of 84-year-old Nodari T. in apartment 25 of building 18B Sisakyan Street, Vardan B. struck Rubik P. on the head with an unknown object, while Rubik P. stabbed Vardan B. in various parts of his body with a knife.
Documents have been prepared regarding the incident at the Mashtots division of the police, which have been transferred to the Investigation Department of Yerevan's Investigative Committee, where a criminal case has been initiated.
