Turkey's Foreign Minister on Relations with Armenia
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated that they believe that historical and formal peace with Armenia will truly pave the way for irreversible stability, prosperity, and development in the region. This was reported by the Anadolu news agency.
The Turkish Foreign Minister made this remark while addressing the upcoming "3+3" format meeting scheduled for October 18 in Istanbul, Turkey. "We believe that historical and formal peace with Armenia will indeed pave the way for irreversible stability, prosperity, and development in the region," Fidan said.
He emphasized that the discussions at the third meeting of the "3+3" regional consultation platform will focus not only on issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan but also on the entire Caucasian region. The Turkish Foreign Minister added that Ankara appreciates the "3+3" platform and highlighted that the countries in the region must unite to resolve their issues.
