The involvement of the North Atlantic Alliance in the Ukrainian conflict will lead to catastrophe, and such developments must be prevented. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a joint press conference with U.S. President Joe Biden in Berlin.

“Our position is clear. We support Ukraine to the maximum extent. At the same time, we ensure that NATO does not become a party to the conflict so that this war does not lead to an even greater catastrophe. We are fully aware of this responsibility, and no one can free us from it,” he said.
